Environmental DNA as a Tool for Mapping Biodiversity in the Vinica Brook Watershed

WHEN: Saturday, March 28th, 10AM – 11 AM

WHERE: 30 Peck Rd, Wales, MA 01081 OR ZOOM

Description: This hybrid webinar and in-person session will introduce participants to environmental DNA (eDNA) and demonstrate how we are using this powerful tool to assess biodiversity before the upcoming dam removals. The findings will directly inform our restoration planning and guide future monitoring across the Vinica Brook watershed. For this session, we have invited James Garner, an eDNA specialist from UMass Amherst who is currently collaborating with us on the Vinica Brook restoration.

Events are free of charge!
